Nasal pillow mask are cushions that seal at the base of the nostrils and are help in place with a stretchy strap that goes around the back on head. It reduce air leakage since they direct air into the patients nasal passangers. They work well for patient with a beard or mustache. Nose breathers. It lots of facial hair that with other mask types can prevent the mask from making seal with your skin. Active sleepers. It may cause nasal dryness or nose bleeds. More natural airflow than nasal pillow as the deliverd pressure isn’t direct. Better  for  higher pressure setting than nasal pillow.
